Q:Have you ever used copic markers and if you have, what did you think of them? I'm having quite a debate with my co-worker about the advantages and disadvantages of different markers, wondering what you think as someone who obviously is pretty familiar with different types. Thanks!! :)

I haven’t actually. People have recommended them to me but I’m too poor to buy any. I’m sure violins are playing all around the world now.

Apparently they’re very good though. I use cheap Staedtler felt pens or Sharpies mainly. I bought a few Letraset ProMarkers to try out as well. For a while I became obsessed with the idea that I needed to buy mega expensive markers to try and eliminate pen marks and clean up my drawings. But the longer I’ve done Quoteskine the more I like pen marks and shit like that. All the stuff that actually makes it look like it’s been hand drawn.

I suppose different markers are good for different jobs really.

If I ever end up using some Copics I’ll be sure to do a post about them.
