I didn’t really know much about Harvey Pekar until I watched American Splendor. I only really watched that because I like Paul Giamatti. He always seems to play characters I can relate too… Anyway I loved the film and it made me think Harvey Pekar is someone I can relate to as well.

This was an old skine I did just after Michael Jackson died, I can’t believe it’s been a year already! When I first drew this it was to represent there only being one Michael Jackson, but it still seems pretty relevant one year on.

Tahiti - Pencil
I’m in the process of doing another Corey Haim quote. I really like the pencil stage before I colour my drawings, but generally it never gets saved. So I just thought I’d post this one in pencil before I colour it tomorrow. For no real reason other than I like it.
